The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has announced a ‘Qaumi-Tasdeeq-o Campaign’ (QTTC), a new method of verification for family members. As per the Nadra spokesperson, under QTTC family members can be verified by using the mobile number that is registered in Nadra via a text message “13 number CNIC There is no Space to “8009”. NADRA Verification of family trees is an innovative initiative by the Pakistani government to identify and remove identity cards that are not legitimate. The national database register and database authority for Pakistan have introduced an SMS family verification. To verify your family tree for verification of your family tree, you must enter your CNIC number and the date of issue from the CNIC in a text message, and transmit your message to the number 8009.
The system will provide you with the names of your family members. If you spot an unknown person on the list, you may contact NADRA to remove them from the list of family members. This service is free.
If you discover an unidentified person on the list You can contact NADRA by typing “1” in SMS and sending an SMS to NADRA via SMS. NDRA will take away and remove the unidentified person in your tree of family. You can also visit your local NADRA center to unregister someone who is not your tree.

This method does not give you a listing of your family members. Instead, you need to input the identification card numbers for each family member. Then, you can verify them. This will inform you that there’s an unknown person within your family tree.
How to Verify Family Tree NADRA Online
- Go to NADRA’s official website: https://id.nadra.gov.pk/e-id/
- Log in or create your account.
- Hit ‘New Application’.
- Choose ‘Issuance of Identity Document (CNIC, NICOP, FRC, POC)’.
- Select “Family Certificate’. Certificate’.
- Click ‘Start Application’.
- Enter your ID card number.
- Upload your picture.
- Select the family tree you want to save and then click save.
- Enter the ID cards of your entire family one at a time.
- Select the relationship of each person with you.
- Enter the identification card’s number.
- Click “Add Member”.
- Select’verify my family when you’re done.
- There will be green tick marks when the list has been checked correctly.
